Article summary

Flexibility and personalization first

At WeSki, we believe no two ski holidays are the same — and neither should their cancellation policies. That’s why we’ve moved away from one rigid policy for all bookings. Instead, each trip now comes with its own cancellation terms, carefully tailored to the specific components you choose — like flights, hotels, transfers, and ski passes.

You’ll see the exact cancellation conditions for your trip clearly displayed during checkout and in your confirmation documents. This approach ensures transparency, fairness, and maximum flexibility.

How cancellation works

You, or any member of your party, may cancel your travel arrangements at any time by sending us written notice from the lead passenger (the one who made the booking). Just email us at contact@weski.com with your booking details and your request to cancel.

Once received, we’ll confirm your cancellation by email within 7 working days. If you do not receive a cancellation receipt within 7 working days, please contact us.

Important rules that apply to all trips

Due to supplier commitments, all bookings become fully non-refundable and non-amendable 7 days or less before departure.

Cancellation fees are based on your trip’s total value and vary depending on the timing of cancellation and the components you selected. These fees are shown clearly on your trip’s cancellation policy.

Your initial payment might not cover the cancellation fee

Each trip has its own cancellation policy, which may include a cancellation fee starting from the day of booking (for example, 10%).

If the cancellation fee is higher than the amount you initially paid, you'll be charged the difference when you cancel.
Please note, that WeSki reserves the right to charge this difference automatically.

🔍 Example:
You booked a holiday worth €1,800 and chose to make an initial payment of €99.
The cancellation policy for your trip states a 10% cancellation fee from the day of booking.
10% of €1,800 = €180
You’ve only paid €99 so far.

If you cancel, you will be charged €81 (€180 cancellation fee minus the €99 already paid). This is because the cancellation fee is calculated based on your total trip cost, not just the initial payment.
This ensures fairness across all bookings, regardless of how much you initially chose to pay.

Partial (individual) cancellations

If only some members of your group want to cancel, and not the entire group, the refund amount will depend on how your trip was booked.

Some trip components — like transfers, accommodation, flights or ski lessons — are shared across your group. These shared components can’t be refunded for the person cancelling, because they’ll still be used by the rest of the group.

We’ll review your booking and let you know which parts are refundable, and which are not. But please note:

  • Individual cancellations made within 7 days of departure are non-refundable, just like full group cancellations.
  • Non-shared, personal items (e.g. individual lift passes or rental equipment) may be refunded, depending on the policy for your trip.

Credits

If you paid using a credit, the refund due (according to your trip’s policy) will first be offset by the value of the credit. The remaining balance (if any) will be refunded or charged accordingly.
New credits issued upon cancellation are valid for 2 years from the date of issue.

If WeSki cancels your trip

If WeSki is forced to cancel or make significant changes to essential elements of your holiday due to extraordinary circumstances (e.g. a full resort closure), you will receive a full refund. For more details please read our Terms of Sales (section 8).

Changes to facilities or amenities by our third-party providers (e.g. hotel spa closure, energy shortage) that do not fundamentally change your trip are not considered grounds for refund.

Your financial protection

All the flights and flight-inclusive holidays are financially protected by the SGR scheme. Please see our booking conditions for further information or for more information about financial protection and the SGR go to: www.sgr.nl/english/.
Our SGR number is 3831

If you book arrangements other than a package holiday this financial protection will not apply. Please see our Terms of Service for more information.
